The promise

A handheld precision blower for the twenty minutes after you unclip. The Tailwind Air System cleans, dries and detail-finishes your bike — without lifting a brush, without spraying water at sealed bearings, and without the bench-vice ritual of a workshop session.

What it does
  • Lifts grit out of the cassette, jockey wheels and chainrings — without contact
  • Dries the frame, brake calipers and seatpost junction after a wash, in under three minutes
  • Reaches headset bearings, internal cable ports, helmet pads, chamois
  • Cools you down after intervals — gear 2 is roughly the airflow of a desk fan
Why it's different

110,000 RPM brushless motor. 130 m/s peak air velocity. Six variable speeds on an infinite-step trigger. Four interchangeable magnetic nozzles. 390 g — lighter than a full bidon. Built around an anodised aluminium spine, not a plastic shell.

Why you'll keep using it

Boring, until you try it. Then it replaces an air can, a brush, kitchen roll and a tea towel — and the twenty minutes after you unclip become a small ritual instead of a chore.

After the ride

How riders use it.

  1. 01 Wipe down the frame
  2. 02 Clear road spray from the drivetrain
  3. 03 Dry hard-to-reach areas
  4. 04 Store the bike properly

In the field

Drivetrain

Clear every crevice in the cassette.

110,000 RPM of directed airflow blasts road spray, chain lube and grit from between sprockets, the derailleur cage and jockey wheels — without drenching everything in water.

Post-wash drying

Dry in minutes, not hours.

Water pooling in the bottom bracket shell, inside cable ports and under the saddle rail is where corrosion starts. Get it out before it sits.

Frame detail

The bits a cloth can't reach.

Behind the front derailleur. Around the dropout. Inside the fork crown. The precision nozzle goes where a rag never will.

Common questions

Things people ask before they buy.

Is this a tyre pump?

No. The Air System is a high-velocity blower — it cleans, dries and detail-finishes the bike, but doesn't inflate tyres.

Will it damage my bearings?

Designed for targeted airflow rather than high-pressure washing — appropriate for clearing debris and drying hard-to-reach areas after rides and washes.

Can I use it on Di2 / AXS / EPS?

Modern electronic drivetrains are designed for real-world riding conditions, including wet weather and road spray. Suitable for use around Di2, AXS and EPS when used as intended.

How long does the battery last?

About 30 minutes on gear 1, 18 minutes on gear 3. USB-C from empty to full takes ~2.5 hours.

What's in the box?

The Air System, four nozzles (Precision, Drivetrain, Wide flow, Brush), a USB-C cable, and a printed user manual.
