Things people ask before they buy.

Plain answers, in the same language as the rest of the site.

Is this a tyre pump?

No. The Air System is a high-velocity blower — it cleans, dries and detail-finishes the bike, but doesn't inflate tyres. We may make a pump in the future; it'll be its own object. We don't believe in one tool that does two things badly.

How loud is it?

About 78 dB at full power — roughly the level of a kitchen blender. Most cleaning happens on gears 2–4, which sit at 65–72 dB. Quieter than a workshop compressor. Louder than an electric toothbrush.

How long does the battery last?

About 30 minutes on gear 1, 18 minutes on gear 3 (the most common cleaning setting), and around 8 minutes on storm gear. A full post-ride routine uses 30–40% of a charge. USB-C from empty to full takes ~2.5 hours.

Won't high-pressure air damage bearings or seals?

Designed for targeted airflow rather than high-pressure washing — intended for drying and clearing debris from hard-to-reach areas after rides and washes. We'd still avoid pointing it directly into rim brake bores or speaker mesh, the same way you'd avoid pressure washing them.

Can I use it on Di2 / AXS / EPS?

Modern electronic drivetrains are designed for real-world riding conditions, including wet weather and road spray. Suitable for use around Di2, AXS and EPS when used as intended. We'd avoid blowing directly into the USB-C port on AXS batteries.

What's in the box?

The Air System itself, four interchangeable nozzles (Precision, Drivetrain, Wide flow, Brush), a USB-C cable, and a printed user manual. No PSU — the cable charges from any laptop, phone charger or Garmin block.

What's your returns policy?

30 days, no quibble. If it's not right for you, get in touch and we'll arrange a return at no cost to you. Product must be unused and in original packaging.

Shipping?

Free shipping on all orders. Orders placed before 3 pm GMT ship same day. Tracked delivery.

Why is the launch price £79?

The first 100 units ship at £79 as a Launch Edition — a way to thank the riders who back us early. After that, the price rises to £150. It isn't a sale and won't return.

Will it work as a quick cool-down after intervals?

Yes — we do this. Gear 2 is roughly the airflow of a desk fan. Aim it at the back of your neck after a hill rep set. We didn't design it for this, but we won't pretend we don't use it for this.
